Nine-year-old Bo moves to the countryside with her mother and her half-sister Rani. At first glance, there is little to do in the new environment, and the sisters are eagerly looking forward to the weekend when their fathers come to pick them up. Bo's father, however, fails again and again. While Rani spends the weekends with her father, Bo is left in the empty home. In the landscape of vast fields, Bo is left to herself and becomes more independent.
